Ballmark publishes courts, photos and reviews submitted by its users. If any of it is offensive, abusive, unsafe, spam, or a photo of you that you did not agree to, tell us.
In the app: tap Report. It is on court listings, on reviews, and on photos — for a photo, open it and the Report control sits on the image itself, so you are reporting exactly the picture you are looking at.

What happens next. We review every report within 24 hours and remove content that breaches our rules, along with the account that posted it where that is warranted. Reports are readable only by an administrator: the person you reported cannot see your report or find out who filed it. You do not need an account to report something.
If someone's contributions are a nuisance rather than a rule breach, you can block them instead — see below.
Tap Block on any of their reviews — it sits next to Report.
Blocking hides that account's reviews and photos from you. It is silent and one-directional: they are not told, and it does not hide your contributions from them.
It does not hide courts. A court's location and surface are facts about the world, not somebody's opinion — letting a block erase real courts from your own map would make the app worse at the only job it has.
To undo it, tap the initials button on the map, then Blocked accounts.
Block is for someone whose contributions you would rather not see. If content actually breaks the rules, report it as well — blocking only affects your own view, so reporting is what gets it taken down for everyone.
No. Browsing courts, viewing photos and reading reviews all work signed out. You only need an account to contribute — to add a court, upload a photo, or write a review.
Signing in is Sign in with Apple or Google Sign-In. There is no password to create or remember. If you use Apple's Hide My Email, we only ever see the relay address.
There is more to record than most court finders bother with: venue type, access and fees, cost per hour, how to reserve, court count, surface, indoor or outdoor, lights and how late they run, condition, pickleball lines, lessons and who teaches them, clinics, a ball machine, restrooms, water, seating, shade, a backboard, and parking.
You do not have to fill all of it in. Anything you do add is one more thing the next person does not have to guess about.
New submissions are held as drafts and checked by a moderator before they appear publicly. Once you have a track record of good submissions, yours publish immediately. If something you added has not shown up after a few days, email us and we will find it.
Accuracy beats volume. A court entered carefully once is worth more than five entered from memory.
Open the court and tap Edit. Change what is wrong and submit. Edits go through the same moderation step as new courts.
Some changes have their own report button on the listing, because they matter enough to flag rather than quietly edit — a court that has closed, gone private, or been converted to pickleball courts.

Because nobody has added those courts yet. Ballmark's coverage is real but currently concentrated in the Orlando metro area, where it started. Elsewhere it is thin, and we would rather say so than pretend otherwise.
The fix is contributions. If you add the courts you play on, the map fills in where players actually are.
Only to centre the map on courts near you, on the device. Your location is never uploaded — not stored, not sent to our servers, not shared with anyone.
You can decline. The app works fine; you search or pan the map instead.
No. Every photo is re-encoded on your phone before it uploads, which strips the EXIF metadata the camera embedded — including GPS coordinates, timestamp and device details. That data never leaves your device.
Ballmark also never asks for camera access. Photos are chosen from your library.
Tap the initials button in the top-right of the map, then Delete account. You do not need to email us or wait for us to action it.
Deleted: your account and profile, your reviews, and any private notes. Your sign-in record itself goes, not just your profile — there is no deactivated state kept aside.
Kept: courts and photos you contributed, with the link to you removed.
The split is between your words and the directory's record. A review is you speaking, so it goes with you. A court's location and surface are facts other people now rely on, and a court that vanishes is a court someone drives to and finds gone.

Short version: your location never leaves your phone, photo metadata is stripped before upload, there is no advertising, no tracking SDK and no crash-reporting SDK, and nothing is sold. Contributions are public by design.
